Dead: Al Qaeda's #2 in Iraq

Forced to report some good news from Iraq, CBS reveals that Al Qaeda's #2 in Iraq -- the man charged with financing foreign terrorists in the country -- was killed last night.

Only decorum prevents me from commenting "good riddance."

I don't do "decorum" when it comes to Al Qaida.

Good riddance!

I second that. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's network of al Qaeda-linked insurgents is emerging as a self-sustaining force, despite repeated blows by U.S. forces and the reported death of his second-in-command, U.S. intelligence officials and other experts say.--Reuters

So a country that had a negligible Al Qaeda presence is now a self-sustaining breeding ground for terrorists. Congratulations to President "Bring It On" Bush and his right-wing cheerleading squad. I feel so much safer now.
