More on C.S. Lewis

Ever since I read this (makes a great Christmas gift, btw!), I have been a C.S. Lewis devotee.

Here is an interesting overview of the great man's life.

I agree with you. "MC" is a masterpiece. You might also like the discussion here, if you've seen the movie.

Even the PBS special on Lewis was, I thought, exemplary, and his association with Tolkien quite interesting.

If you haven't seen it (and judging by its box office numbers most of you haven't), the movie _Shadowlands_, starring Anthony Hopkins as C.S Lewis was also very good, IMO.

I read the Narnia series along with Tolkien and the LOTR greatly appealed more. I can discuss all things Middle Earth though a bit rusty on my Silmarillion history. They very much laid my path to the Lord. I also liked Terry Brooks and George Herbert.

Mere Christianity was one of the human agencies for my conversion. The other was Dr. Rod Rosenbladt who assigned the book as a text for a REL101 class I took with him.
