We Want the Truth

What are the Democrats so afraid of?

It's not like we're going to get the story from the MSM -- it's time for the pajamahadeen to saddle up and ride!

On one hand...

We have the (Republican) sitting Vice President's Chief of Staff indicted for revealing the identity of an undercover CIA agent during a time of war.

We have the (Republican) sitting President's Chief of Staff in imminent threat of being indicted for revealing the identity of an undercover CIA agent during a time of war.

We have the Republican House majority leader indicted on money laundering charges.

We have the Republican Senate majority leader threatened with indictments over securities violations.

We have a sitting Republican member of Congress pleading guilty to accepting over $2 million in bribes.

We have another sitting Republican House labelled Representative #1 in an indictment handed down in another bribery scandal.

We have Bush Pioneer and Republican uber lobbyist Jack Abramoff, linked to an ongoing massive bribery scandal, that threatens to take down many Republican member of the House and Senate.

We have the Republican Governor of Ohio pleading no contest to bribery charges.

We have the Republican Governor of Kentucky providing a blanket pardon to his entire administration in a patronage scandal.

On the other hand...

Bob Novak is reporting that some unspecified allegation may or may not be forthcoming on some people who may have worked in the Clinton administration.

Yet another example of Republicans completely kicking Democratic tookus.

Un-original, but no less true. (Like the original was so dazzlingly insightful.)

Pete blah-blah-blahed, "Leave it to you, Twister, and Duke, to 'forget' all the corruption in the Clinton years."

Tell me Pete, which White House staff member was indicted during the Clinton adminsitration. Oh that's right, prior to Scooter no person working at the White House had been indicted in over a century.

Parenthetically, remember that Colson, Dean, etc. were no longer on the White House payroll when indicted. President Nixon, with a measure of class unimagined by W, fired people who shamed their office.

Duke-Stir wrote, "Typical of the right - excuse itself and blast the left."

Duke-Stir, how dare you sully the high-level of debate started by Pete? This statement is, my fine sir, not only lacking in originality, but an outright lie.

The correct formulation is (as amply demonstrated by Pete the Witless)...

"Typical of the right - excuse itself and blast Bill Clinton."

C'mon Duke-Stir... You want a piece of me?

You are correct, Twister. I am sorry and am appropriately chastened.

I always forget to keep my eye on the ball (or balls, as it were) as our country grapples with its most serious crises in a generation: the libidinous crimes of Bill Clinton.
