Check It Out!

Sounds like the Iraq Survey Group -- charged with locating Iraq's WMD's -- may not have done as thorough a job as all of us had a right to expect.

If it turns out that there were WMD's in Iraq, is it all right to accuse the Democrats of having "lied" about their non-existence? (Of course not, but that's the logic they use when they assert that the President lied.)

I used to wonder where tinfoil hat conspiracy theories came from. Now I am getting to see one spring into life right before my eyes.

OK, I'll bite...

Following the fall of Saddam's regime, finding Iraqi WMDs was the highest priority for both the political and military leadership of our country. David Kay, the leader of the Iraq Survey Group, was one of the original "true believers."

Why did the Iraq Survey Group ignore a "credible" report of chemical and/or biological weapons in Iraq?

(Bonus points to anyone who can include the Knights Templar in their explanation.)
