As with everything else, it comes down to our human propensity towards selfishness. Once you find out you are going to be much better off when you give instead of take, then you'll be much happier too.
As a father with two boys at home, we sometimes use the country song title, "If Mom ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" as a joke. But it's rather true, and just like Mom likes to make us happy, we enjoy making Mom happy.

If you're "in favor of men", that's conclusive proof that you aren't a lib. LOL.
Just more proof that conservatives mean what they say, right?
Thanks for the positive column. Men get dissed unfairly sometimes, but I have found that in marriage when I think of her needs and look to make life better for her, life is also a heck of a lot better for me. That is not because I am afraid of her, but because I love her like crazy. Nice for me, she reciprocates.
