They should rename it the Kool-Aid Cafe.

Nothing but more of the same overwrought, Morning-in-America, neocon-fantasy imagery that apparently passes for a foreign policy strategy with you.

And nothing but the cheering for America to fail for you duke.

I have news for you copioneer, the last thing I want is for America to fail.

My brother is in the National Guard in Iraq right now. We are all praying he comes home safely. My cousin did not come home safely. He was severely injured and disfigured by an IED and now his two year-old daughter is terrified by the sight of him. My uncle also received a Purple Heart in Vietnam. My grandfather served in WWII.

They are (were) all LIBERALS, PROGRESSIVES, DEMOCRATS, or whatever "derisive" term you guys prefer to use these days.

We are all a very proud clan, who love our country and have contributed as much to its well-being as you and yours. We want very much for our country to succeed.

But you just keep telling yourself that we don't it helps you feel better about your increasingly tenuous position vis a vis the blithering idiot running our country.

We will not be cowed by such tactics any longer. (Bulletin: You do not own this country.) Our armed forces, though they are not allowed to publicly disagree with their Commander-in-Chief, are not all of the same mind (as you and others would like to believe). And one does not have to be a "conservative," whatever that means anymore, to want things to go well in Iraq.

Calling out our leaders on their mistakes as well as their denial of the realities on the ground in Iraq is our duty.

"...so why don't you stop your habitual slandering of anyone who has the audacity to disagree with you?"

As if you and the gang here are innocent of the same.

"I will admit that I am impressed to learn that you know how to pray."

Foolish me, I forgot to wear it on my sleeve.
