The "Plan" That Isn't

As this editorial in Investors' Business Daily points out, when papers like the Los Angeles Times report that "Democratic Plan to Beef Up Security Lacks Specifics", well, you know it's bad.

The supposed strategy consists of three words: get Bin Laden. It took 'em four and a half years to come up with that one?

Remember John Kerry's 2004 mantra: "I've got a plan"? Well, I guess the Democrats now do, too. What a shame that none of us knows what it is.

Yeah, what's up with that. Heck it took less than thre years for President Bush's strategy to evolve from "bin Laden dead or alive" to "I don't really care about bin Laden." Don't the Dems realize that the whole bin Laden/al Quaeda thing is so 2002?

Actually, bin Laden's effectiveness has been so compromised as to render him insignificant. His occasional attempts at the Clintonian, "I am still relevent." are not much more than passing nuisances.

So yea, I guess bin Ladin IS so much yesterday's news.

For all their think-tanking and planning, you would think the Democrats could come up with something, anything intelligent.

Alas, not so. This must be so frustrating for the Mr. Twisters of the world.
