The Waiter Rule

In my experience, the waiter rule is one of the best indicators of character ever propounded.

And ladies, here's one more for you: If you're considering marrying a guy, check out how he treats his mother. That's what you can expect in a few years.

Another example is how a man treats a kid who knocks on the door to ask for the return of the ball that was just hit into the man's fenced yard.

Mother Theresa used to say something like this: "Whatever your cup is full of will spill out when bumped."

If you are full of love and generosity, that will spill out in a mishap. The same is true of anger or bitterness.

The same goes for the golf course and how one reacts to bad shots, there is a reason alot of business is conducted there as well, do they cheat, do they have fun, are they serious competitors? I called it the golf course rule but the witer rule works just as well. I loved the mother anaolgy for dates, it fits well.
