I'm assuming that this is the same non scandal that has many Republican politicians calling for the resignation of the Attorney General?
Most of the Republicans who are calling for his resignation are doing so independent of this issue. They've been on record since long before this episode as believing he is not qualified for the job.
I, for one, would like to see Gonzales come to the hearings with full-throated indignation and scorn for the Democrats on the committee.
