The Congress' "Achievements"

So the Democratic Congress has launched over 300 investigations, had over 350 requests for documents and interviews and they have had over 600 oversight hearings in just about 100 days.

According to Kimberly Strassel of the Wall Street Journal, that works out to 1 hearing for every hour-and-a-half that the Democratic Congress has been in session.

In the meantime, the Democrats' legislative accomplishments have been . . . minimal. Their signature issue has been how to force a surrender in the war on terror.

Impressive.

Perhaps oversight works. I haven't heard of billions of dollars vanishing into thin air lately, like during the previous Congress.

Oh, they did saddle us with a higher minimum wage. That'll give 'em a chapter in the history books!

The dem party has been hijacked by psycho crazies who have driven them teetering on the edge! It's breathtaking to watch but with much prayer and a solid conservative voting block, the sane ones on our side of the isle should be able to push them over the cliff in '08 and send them crashing to their political death into the dark abyss below!
